I have known the Penner family for years now, back when they were newlyweds and I was still in high school! Now, they have two beautiful girls, Alexa and Elyse, and we all found ourselves relocated to Chilliwack. I am so grateful for this amazing lovely family’s friendship and I had a fabulous time with them on a lovely summer evening!
Beautiful Elyse – man, she’s not even two yet but does this girl know how to pose!
Haha – we decided to try and get a few couple shots of Jared & Erika together and Alexa just couldn’t bare to be away from them for a moment longer – what a cutie!
Part of what I enjoy so much about my job and family portraits is making sure the kids are not only happy and enjoying the experience but that I make it special for them. The girls love to have tea parties – so where better than in the middle of the field to have a family tea party?
We were lucky enough to get a few shots in their backyard. Erika has completely overhauled this old wornout church pew – isn’t it beautiful?

Sharalynn + Kevin – what can I say? These two are such an amazing couple, they are always full of laughs and love for each other. We drove out to the middle of nowhere for this fun shoot!

The other day, I had the privilege of sitting down with Annika, Travis & Tyson to take some family pictures. I cannot reiterate enough how absolutely adorable Tyson is, he is a joy to photograph. Hard to believe it’s been almost 5 years since I took pictures of the sweetest newborn baby, now he’s starting school.
Back to the present, I met Annika at the Clearbrook Library with Travis & Tyson on a warm spring day.
