Hey, I'm Meg, welcome to my little corner of the cybersphere!
I'm a Fraser Valley wedding & lifestyle photographer (est. 2014) based in Langley, just west of Vancouver BC.
Take a look around & I'd love to connect with you soon!

Chelsea + Stephen are the amazingly talented people behind TreCreative based out of California – if you haven’t already seen their work, you should definitely go check it out! They were our incredibly patient (and stunning) models for our styled shoot led by Andrew Smith Photography this past winter down in Arizona! Not only were they flawless in front of over a dozen different photographers, but most importantly, they didn’t let it get in the way of being lost in their own quiet moments together. The love they hold for each other was clearly evident throughout our time with them and we all walked away from the session feeling more inspired than when we had walked in (if that was even possible!).
{Confession:…It’s been over a couple of months since we did this shoot together, and I still can’t stop staring at Chelsea’s amazing dress! }
First shot of the day, this shoot was led by Andrew Smith (seen below) as a part of the ShowIt United 2015 conference.
As photographers, we try not to get in each other’s way at styled shoots like this but everyone takes their turn bumping elbows and equipment against each other – it’s pretty inevitable when there are almost 20 photographers trying to get their shot. Sometimes getting in each other’s ways becomes a pretty decent behind the scenes shot, hey Andrew? 😉

We had a great group led by an amazing kind photographer – so grateful for my Showiteer community and can’t wait for next year’s conference! (see if you can spot me in the group below!)

Christine & Tom were married back in September at Jubilee Hall in Abbotsford, BC. The day could not have been more perfect for an autumn wedding as the leaves were starting to turn golden while the warmth of summer still clung to the air. Christine looked stunning as she walked down the isle with both of her parents by her side. Her bridesmaids choked back tears and excited laughs for their dear friend, and Tom’s face was beaming from the smile he had on his face from seeing his bride walking towards him.
After the ceremony was over, it was off to portraits with the bridal party and what a fun group we had! From lifting the bride across ditches, to ending our time with them by shotgunning beer, we had a great time with this fabulous group of people. One of the best things about a wedding day is when the guests and bridal party are so invested in their relationships with the couples that it shines through every moment of the day, and this was no exception. Hannah and I had an amazing afternoon with you two, congratulations Christine + Tom!

A little behind the scenes action of the guys (beers in hand) helping the ladies across the ditch – whatever it takes to get the shot, right?

Wedding party shenanigans

We had such a great time with this bridal party – and yes, if I’m at your wedding and I overhear talk of shotgunning beer, I WILL encourage it and I WILL photograph every messy minute of it!
Absolutely love these ring shots I grabbed at the end of the day!

There’s something really special about getting to photograph friends. When a person is no longer a stranger to you, you see even more of their true beauty and personality shine through and when I get one of my friends in front of the camera, it gives me the opportunity to share what I value about them with the world. Stephanie represents every good quality in a friend that you would want. Her kindness, her smile, her laughter and her generosity are just a few of the things that make up her beauty. We met last year working together at Mertin Auto Group where I was doing some part time administrative work and anytime I was working I knew I could always count on this girl to brighten my day. So when Stephanie messaged me a few weeks back about doing a fun portrait session with her, I didn’t hesitate to say yes. This girl is a gem and it was so fun getting to photograph her!
Poor Stephanie – by the time we realized the water over there was up past her ankles it was too late to save the boots! Thank goodness my friends are as crazy as I am and do what I say 😉
Every single day, I look out my window and stare down the hill at this beautiful field. Weekly, I drive past it and probably almost drive off the road staring at it – daydreaming different photo ideas. Thanks Steph for being willing to [probably] trespass with me to get these shots.. I’d say it was worth the risk!
