Hey, I'm Meg, welcome to my little corner of the cybersphere!
I'm a Fraser Valley wedding & lifestyle photographer (est. 2014) based in Langley, just west of Vancouver BC.
Take a look around & I'd love to connect with you soon!
Did someone say Abbotsford Wedding? I did! It was me.
Now, you have to check out these beautiful photos from Katie + James’ wedding. They were married on a beautiful sunny day back in August. And I had the privilege of second shooting for the lovely Stephanie Steiner Photography.
Katie + James’ wedding was at Triple Swaan Nursery. It was a beautiful wedding and they could not have picked a more stunning setting for their Abbotsford wedding day. As I arrived and met up with the guys, you could feel the excitement of the day in the air. As the time of the ceremony grew closer, the anxious anticipation was ever-present – James was counting down the minutes until his bride would be walking towards him. The minute James saw Katie making her way across the grass, down the aisle & towards her groom, you could see a sense of calm come over both of them. And when they locked eyes, I could tell tha were right where they were supposed to be.
After the ceremony, we whisked Katie + James, along with their awesome bridal party, and headed out to capture some portraits for them before my time was up. . They did not disappoint! What a great crew to work with, and this couple could seriously be models if they decided to.
A big congratulations you two, thank you for having me be a part of capturing your day.

Can you say Swaneset Wedding three times fast? Ok, I’m kidding.
Back in the spring, I second shot for the lovely Carla Elaine Photography at the stunning Swaneset Bay Resort & Country Club. From the amazing venue, to this gorgeous in love couple, I couldn’t have asked for anything more! They ended the night with a killer dance party that left us both wishing we could stay (you can catch a sneak peek of the craziness in my BTS snapchat by clicking on the videos all the way at the end of this post!) and then they were off to start their new adventure in life together by moving down to Disneyworld!
Before we get to the pictures, I want to talk about scenery. Now, I know weddings are about the couple, and I’m here for it. But one of the really awesome things about being a second shooter at a wedding is getting the pictures that no one thinks about.
Don’t get me wrong, I love every aspect of shooting a wedding, but as a second, there is just so much more that I get to see. And a big part of that is the scenery.
You see, while the lead photographer is focused on the bride and groom from the perfect angle, I get to find a sneaky side angle and capture things that you might not have noticed.
This can be the sweeping, breathtaking views of the venue (with the happy couple, of course!) Or the smiles and excitement of the guests. You see, I get to take a completely different vantage point and it only serves to add to the portfolio of images you get on your big day.
A rainbow on your wedding day means good luck, right?
As a young girl growing up in the Okanagan, each year as summer rolled around I watched wedding after wedding take place in and around Kelowna – vineyards, golf courses, provincial parks, waterfront all laid backdrop to picturesque weddings.. In truth, it’s what made me fall in love with wedding photography. I’ve always been in love with photography, in capturing and sharing the world around me through my camera lens, but watching these stunning Okanagan weddings made me fall in love with telling couples’ stories. Last weekend, I was able to take the next step forward and (second) shoot my first winery wedding!
Clint + Brieanne were married at Harper’s Trail Winery in Kamloops, BC. As I was second shooting for the always talented Hannah Cummins Photography, I headed over to hang with the guys for getting ready photos while Hannah met up with the ladies. We had a great bridal party for the day and you could tell how loved & supported Clint + Brieanne are in their relationship and now marriage going forward. It was a beautiful day, the weather turned out perfectly, and Clint + Brieanne along with their guests kept the dance party going long into the night! (We may have even stuck around to sneak in a dance or two!)
These two make a beautiful couple and Hannah & I both had an amazing time in Kamloops at their winery wedding. Congratulations Clint + Brieanne!! Thanks for having us.
