Hey, I'm Meg, welcome to my little corner of the cybersphere!
I'm a Fraser Valley wedding & lifestyle photographer (est. 2014) based in Langley, just west of Vancouver BC.
Take a look around & I'd love to connect with you soon!

You guys, this family is awesome! I’ve been lucky enough to capture their memories for the past 3+ years now, and I can’t express how great it is getting to watch this sweet family grow. It means the world to know they came all the way out from Chilliwack to take part in my Family Mini Sessions at Historic Stewart Farm in Surrey this year! The last time I saw them was for Linden’s First Birthday Cake Smash over a year and a half ago and it completely blew me away how much the kids have grown up in the time since. Before their mini, I made sure to look back on my first ever family session with these guys and it’s hard to believe just how much has changed from then till now for all of us –  just look at how far even my editing has come!Â

These two are also in the midst of planning a wedding for next summer & I cannot wait to be apart of capturing that moment in their lives as well. You can look for their engagement session up on the blog in the Spring! In the meantime, here’s my favourites from their Langley Family Portrait Session..
Dance Parties are ALWAYS encouraged!!Â

Taylor & Mat are one of my amazing 2019 couples and I absolutely can’t wait to celebrate & party with them at their summer wedding at Triple Swaan Nursery in Abbotsford! We met up for their engagement session photos at the always beautiful Alouette Lake, inside Golden Ears Provincial Park. We couldn’t have timed things better for those golden autumn leaves to be on full display for us and had a blast taking full advantage of the fall season.
Taylor & Mat are so much fun to hang out with and I think I laughed more during their session than during any before. They’re easy going & comfortable with each other – I love being able to watch couples who are authentically their whole selves with the other. I think when you’ve found something like this, it feels like coming home finally when you’re in their arms. Mat took full advantage of our time to bring out as many smiles & laughs from Taylor as he possibly could and it was so much fun to watch these two interact. I loved the way Taylor lit up as Mat made his quick quips.
These two brought their daughter along with them to the park and after braving the wind, she had no problem sharing with us her squeals of delight over getting to play with the big golden leaves. (Did I mention there was a WIND WARNING on this day in the area?! We had to hide in the trees of the park for most of our time) She is absolutely adorable and it was tempting to shoot an entire extra portrait session just around her – haha!
While it’s still a ways away, I am already looking forward to their Triple Swaan Nursery wedding in 2019! (Yes – that does mean I’m already booking for 2018 & beyond) Here’s a few of my favourites from their Golden Ears Engagement session.

Adam & Alison. What a kind, sweet, easy-going, light-hearted couple these two are. I absolutely loved getting to know these two over the course of their wedding day. Their summer wedding (shot with Hannah Cummins )Â was so much fun to capture as their laid back personalities and awesome bridal party allowed for some amazing authentic organic moments.
Their ceremony was held at a park close by in Langley (Campbell Valley Park – a lot of my family portrait clients will know that park 😉 ) , and after we stole them away for portraits, we headed back to their reception at Fort Langley Golf Course. Each and every time I’m at this amazing venue, the hospitality of their event staff never ceases to impress me with their kindness. They always go out of their way to make sure everything is going smoothly. This was one of a handful of weddings held here in Fort Langley that I photographed including Lawrence & Amelia’s. Here’s a curated selection of my top shots from the day..

I first met Katie in the summer of 2016. It was the wedding of one of her closest friends, Maria & Brad at Manning Park that I was photographing, and even as I captured their getting ready moments the morning of, you could tell the bond between these two friends was strong. Katie seemed so sweet and her loyalty to those close to her was apparent from the start.
Fast forward a year to 2017, and just as summer started drawing to a close, I received an email from Katie. I could instantly sense her excitement as I read her words – she was recently engaged and couldn’t wait to embrace this stage in her relationship.
As soon as we got together for coffee and Katie introduced me to her fiancé John, the connection between these two was strong. I loved watching how they balance each other out. John possessed a quiet strength & sense of calmness that perfectly complimented Katie’s loving enthusiasm & detailed planning.

After rescheduling due to rain (I mean, it IS fall in the Lower Mainland – who doesn’t have to reschedule a session at least once during this time of year?!) I think we all ended up grateful for the reschedule because WOW, did the weather ever blow us away! Not only were the leaves at the peak of their colourful show, but clear skies left the warm sun shining which provided us with the MOST GORGEOUS golden hour. The sun truly showed off for us (I mean come on, just look at those stunning sun flares and that golden glowy haze – to die for!!).
These two were so playful & loving with each other during their entire session. We had so much fun exploring the park together and taking full advantage of the changing seasons (because really, who can resist a good leaf fight??) I am so excited to share a few of my favourites with you guys & am looking forward to seeing these two tie the knot at Whonnock Lake next summer.
