Caitlyn & Scott

These two are so sweet together! They were meant to be, and I loved watching Scott admire Caitlyn for the absolutely beautiful woman she is – inside & out. You can see his love for her and her beauty exuding out of them when they look at each other! It’s the best kind of sign in a relationship when you bring out the best in each other. It makes you stronger to weather the storm and even more powerful together in life. Oh, did I mention they have the cutest little puppy/furbaby as well?!? Just give me all the puppy cuddles, thanks!

I loved getting the opportunity to hear how these two met at Caitlyn’s work a few years ago and eventually found their way to a date & then love. 😉

After they got engaged, they had initially thought they may elope entirely and opt out of a wedding. As time went on, the idea of letting that moment go by not sharing it with the ones they love most – their family, just didn’t sit right with these two! And so, a couple weeks before the date, they planned a low-key intimate in-home Langley wedding for themselves.

It was the sweetest day with these two and their most loved ones. Their vows were simple, beautiful and touching, with donuts to finish off the afternoon of festivities!

It was truly such a pleasure capturing this for these two – I LOVED hanging out with them and wish their sweet day could’ve lasted forever!

Gold Creek Engagement

Brendan & Elizabeth:

Ahh young love! These two are so sweet together. When Elizabeth got in touch with me a few months back, I instantly felt drawn in by her sweet smile that reached far past her eyes. You can feel the genuine kindness and real beauty this girl has from your first interaction with her. As we planned out what her hopes were for our time together during their session, I was even more curious to get to know the guy who won her heart.

I loved hearing about their plans for the future – goals, family, wedding, dreams of a home, and hope for all that’s to come. They are full of excitement at starting this next stage in life together, and I am over the moon to watch their journey.

Their engagement session was at Golden Ears Park. Golden Ears is by far one of my go-to most favourite locations in the Lower Mainland to shoot at. It’s relatively close to most of my clients, is a quick hop across the bridge for me, and the park really cannot be beat. I could sit anywhere within the park for hours and just soak in the beauty and the sounds of nature there. It really is one of the most serene & stunning locations around (check out the parks Instagram page here!!). We had planned to explore around the pebbly beach of Alouette Lake but found many of the places were shut down due to filming (thanks a lot Riverdale – haha) but I am so glad that was the case! With most of our options closed off, we decided to venture further into the park to Gold Creek and oh my goodness was it ever worth it!! I could’ve photographed these two here all day long – we had the best time together.

I had so much fun getting to know Jug & Jasleen better during their late summer golden hour Crescent Beach Mendhi wedding shower celebration! This is just the first taste of Jug & Jasleen’s love that we have the honour of witnessing… I am so excited to be again joining my dear friend Hannah Cummins Photography as part of the team of creatives helping to capture their destination wedding. I can’t wait for their wedding celebration at the not-yet-open Hard Rock Hotel in Cabo this fall!
