I’m happy to announce I’m bringing back my Mini Session Special this year now that I’m settled in Langley & with the option to upgrade to the full gallery! It can be so hard to narrow down the images from a session and pick your favourites, so now you can choose to upgrade to the entire gallery which includes all the edited digital images from your portrait session!
Mini Sessions are perfect for families – they’re short & sweet for the kids, or for couples just wanting to get a couple of new photos together. Sessions can be catered to you – maternity, family, children, couples – anniversary, engagement, in love!

Family & Couple’s Winter/Christmas Mini Session’s
Historic Stewart Farm on Saturday, November 18, 2017.
25 minutes – 15 digital images – $150
Option to upgrade to entire gallery for $75

$50 Retainer & Signed Contract are required to book. Your session time is not confirmed until these are received. Booking must be finalized a minimum of 24 hours before time of session.
**These are outdoor lifestyle sessions, not posed set up with decorations & props (although you’re more than welcome to bring your own!) 🙂 . If you are interested in a studio session that’s posed with a set, please let me know. If I have enough interest I can run an in studio mini session day, otherwise I can accommodate you at another time. 🙂

With the end of wedding season, the arrival of fall always brings with it the joy that’s also known as family sessions! I love being able to fill my calendar up in the Fall & Winter months with family sessions (as well as the odd boudoir or maternity session!) & so when Alisha contacted me back in summer to get ahead on booking her session it got me looking ahead to this autumn. I loved my time with this adorable family. They were filled with joy, warm smiles, contagious giggles & a never ending love for each other! Thanks for having me capture some forever memories for you guys <3 Here’s a few of my favs from our time together.

You guys, I’ve been SO excited to share this session with you!!
Michelle & Karim were married on the beaches of Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, overlooking the ocean. Their ceremony was touching, romantic & intimate, and their entire day was filled with an overwhelming sense of joy that reached out to each and every person there – you can check them out on the blog by clicking here.
Being in this absolutely beautiful location (seriously the ocean in Punta Cana is one of the best I’ve ever experienced and even the sand on the beach was beyond words!) we just couldn’t resist making the most of our time by sneaking in a “day after” session (or maybe I should call it a “honeymoon” session haha ;)). The love these two have for each other is passionate, caring and understanding and I loved every minute of watching them interact. There’s something to be said for their love and being able to capture it for them in this intimate setting was a privilege.
This session was everything I could’ve hoped for and more. I’ve wanted to do a session involving water for a long time, whether an ocean or a lake, it didn’t matter. There is something about being in the water that brings about a different level of intimacy and passion that can be hard to capture on camera and I love the depth it adds to the entire experience. Shania’s smokey & sultry portrait session in the waters surrounding Lake Country in the Okanagan is up on the blog tonight. I’ve been so in love with water sessions lately – you’ll be seeing Michelle & Karim‘s passionate day-after session in the OCEAN in Dominican Republic up on the blog very soon. Being in the water brings about a different depth and emotion into photos that I’ve been enamoured with lately. Anyone up for a session in the ocean around White Rock or Vancouver??
Enough of me raving about water portrait sessions though.. Shania contacted me a while back about doing a portrait session with her. Not only is this girl drop dead gorgeous (don’t you love all her colourful and artistic tattoos?!) but I’m also lucky enough to be her cousin. She was out visiting our grandpa in Lake Country, just outside of Kelowna, and I made the trip down from Langley for a quick family visit between weddings and to sneak in a couple photoshoots. This did not disappoint. My stunning cousin has some serious modelling skills and my camera loved her. I couldn’t resist sharing some of my favourites with you! Can’t wait to see you again soon my dear. <3
