Hey, I'm Meg, welcome to my little corner of the cybersphere!
I'm a Fraser Valley wedding & lifestyle photographer (est. 2014) based in Langley, just west of Vancouver BC.
Take a look around & I'd love to connect with you soon!
Teri + Mick were married underneath the bandstand overlooking beautiful Harrison Lake just two short weekends ago. These two are so special together and it’s undeniable that they truly are meant for one another. After meeting in high school over 25 years ago, they went their separate ways in life only to find their way back to each other just 5 short years ago (you can read more about their story + check out their engagement session here)
When Mick proposed to Teri almost two years ago in June 2014 in one of the hot springs at Harrison Resort & Spa Hotel, their fate was sealed. It was inevitable that they return to this spot to commit the rest of their lives together on their wedding day. Seeing their family + friends rally around this couple to express their undivided love & support of these two was so significant. From the excitement in the air the minute I walked in the Bridal Suite that Saturday morning, the tears of happiness + love that Mick thought he got away with no one seeing, to the most joyful radiant bride I’ve ever seen – it was such a gorgeous day that we’ll all be remembering for a long time to come.
A huge congratulations to these two for standing the test of time and finding their way to each other.

May Long Weekend this year wasn’t just another long weekend that we all look forward to for that extra day off – no, this year it held extra importance! Kelowna Secondary School’s prom was held at the Delta Grand Okanagan on Friday – having spent the majority of my growing up years in Kelowna, I’m always bound to know some of the grads but this year was my gorgeous sister Miki’s turn to walk the promenade with her graduation class with the Okanagan Lake as a backdrop.
It was so good to be back home and to (finally!) get Miki in front of my camera lens for a short-but-sweet mini portrait session.
I am so immensely proud of you Miki – congratulations beautiful. I can’t wait to see where you’ll go in this life..
a little behind-the-scenes shot from Myles – have to make sure the dress is on point 😉
Christine & Tom were married back in September at Jubilee Hall in Abbotsford, BC. The day could not have been more perfect for an autumn wedding as the leaves were starting to turn golden while the warmth of summer still clung to the air. Christine looked stunning as she walked down the isle with both of her parents by her side. Her bridesmaids choked back tears and excited laughs for their dear friend, and Tom’s face was beaming from the smile he had on his face from seeing his bride walking towards him.
After the ceremony was over, it was off to portraits with the bridal party and what a fun group we had! From lifting the bride across ditches, to ending our time with them by shotgunning beer, we had a great time with this fabulous group of people. One of the best things about a wedding day is when the guests and bridal party are so invested in their relationships with the couples that it shines through every moment of the day, and this was no exception. Hannah and I had an amazing afternoon with you two, congratulations Christine + Tom!Â
A little behind the scenes action of the guys (beers in hand) helping the ladies across the ditch – whatever it takes to get the shot, right?Â
Wedding party shenanigans
We had such a great time with this bridal party – and yes, if I’m at your wedding and I overhear talk of shotgunning beer, I WILL encourage it and I WILL photograph every messy minute of it!Â
Absolutely love these ring shots I grabbed at the end of the day!

I first met Tyler & Kelsey a few weeks before their November wedding at a little coffee shop in Langley to discuss the details of their day! Hearing their plans for a wedding in Salmon Arm, right on the edge of Shuswap Lake, I was instantly excited. Having grown up in the beautiful Okanagan, I never shy away from the opportunity to be back home.
As I made my way over the Coquihalla down into Kelowna and then north, I was anxiously tracking the weather, hoping for a break in the rain, wind & cold we had been experiencing. Unfortunately, we didn’t get much of a reprieve from the rain, but Tyler and Kelsey were such troopers, they didn’t let it dampen their spirits at all. After a bit of a delay and mom-of-the-bride to the rescue, the rain held off long enough for Kelsey to walk down the isle to see Tyler. Despite the day not going quite as planned, the warmth & love these two showed towards each other made up for it tenfold. As I’m sure they will agree with me, it was so worth every second of getting soaked in the cold outside!
It was an absolute privilege to be able to share in the joy and celebration of your marriage with you Kelsey + Tyler, a big congratulations from the Meg Kristina Photography family!
