Hey, I'm Meg, welcome to my little corner of the cybersphere!
I'm a Fraser Valley wedding & lifestyle photographer (est. 2014) based in Langley, just west of Vancouver BC.
Take a look around & I'd love to connect with you soon!
Christine & Tom were married back in September at Jubilee Hall in Abbotsford, BC. The day could not have been more perfect for an autumn wedding as the leaves were starting to turn golden while the warmth of summer still clung to the air. Christine looked stunning as she walked down the isle with both of her parents by her side. Her bridesmaids choked back tears and excited laughs for their dear friend, and Tom’s face was beaming from the smile he had on his face from seeing his bride walking towards him.
After the ceremony was over, it was off to portraits with the bridal party and what a fun group we had! From lifting the bride across ditches, to ending our time with them by shotgunning beer, we had a great time with this fabulous group of people. One of the best things about a wedding day is when the guests and bridal party are so invested in their relationships with the couples that it shines through every moment of the day, and this was no exception. Hannah and I had an amazing afternoon with you two, congratulations Christine + Tom!
A little behind the scenes action of the guys (beers in hand) helping the ladies across the ditch – whatever it takes to get the shot, right?
Wedding party shenanigans
We had such a great time with this bridal party – and yes, if I’m at your wedding and I overhear talk of shotgunning beer, I WILL encourage it and I WILL photograph every messy minute of it!
Absolutely love these ring shots I grabbed at the end of the day!

just grab a hold of my hand, I will lead you through this wonderland…
Misty contacted me back in the spring about her summer 2016 wedding. We went for coffee and conversation quickly turned to planning out their engagement session. We decided on a fall session at a park her & Cole love to spend time at in Burnaby. This summer flew by and before I knew it, autumn was here. I’ve been looking forward to their engagement session since we first went for coffee and let me tell you, these two killed it!
Deer Lake Park is always a beautiful location, but this warm Sunday evening it looked absolutely magical. The flowers were still in bloom, the leaves all changing colours to beautiful yellows, reds & oranges, and the golden hour light filtered down through the trees; it was stunning. These two were so photogenic I still can’t get over it! It was so much fun to watch the way they interacted & laugh together. Cole made sure to keep things light hearted and fun, easily putting a smile on Misty’s face. You can see the way they care for each other & I am so excited for their wedding at Manning Park next summer!
I had a great time with you Misty + Cole!

I am absolutely loving all of these fabulous mini sessions this fall! The weather has been fantastic (other than a little blip on the map last weekend), the sun is warm, and the fall colours have just started to show off!
Last week, (after a quick reschedule thanks to the rain!) the Penner’s and I met down at Island 22 in Chilliwack for their family mini session! I love this family – not only are they beautiful inside & out but they are also dear friends, which makes it even more of a privilege to be able to capture these moments for them. Erika & Jared’s girls are full of personality and energy, and are simply adorable! Upon arriving at Island 22, Alexa excitedly hopped out of their SUV, ran over to me and presented me with a picture she drew for me which warmed my heart so much. These girls are going to be heart breakers one day, Jared – better get the gun ready now 😉

Up on the blog today is a unique post! We were invited to Indulgent Doggilama’s quaint Tutt Street location in Kelowna, BC last week to get a behind-the-scenes look at how they make their doggie biscuits in-store by hand!
Meet Michelle Bell – the lady behind Indulgent Doggilama!
Michelle hails from Australia (aussie aussie aussie, oi oi oi!) and was trained at the University of New South Wales in 1988 as a part of a comprehensive pet nutrition course. She is also a Certified Executive Chef (for people, not just our pups!)! Not only that but this lady has a heart of gold – more often than not, she can be caught giving away way too many “trial” biscuits to the pups, but her commitment to bring awareness to proper pet nutrition is inspiring!
This store is seriously amazing, and Michelle’s experience and knowledge in pet nutrition is astounding! Everything at their cozy Pandosy area location is locally sourced, locally made & locally owned! Let me tell you, my fur babies go absolutely bonkers when they realize they’re about to get Indulgent’s treats! If you’d like to place an order or book a nutrition consult with Michelle for your pet, head on over to their website at indulgentdoggilama.ca! Till then, get the napkins ready because your mouth will be watering by the end of this blog post… Did I mention everything is human grade and there’s bacon involved?! Sounds like trouble to me…. 😉
