Hey, I'm Meg, welcome to my little corner of the cybersphere!
I'm a Fraser Valley wedding & lifestyle photographer (est. 2014) based in Langley, just west of Vancouver BC.
Take a look around & I'd love to connect with you soon!
It was one of the last weddings of the 2015 season and we could not have dreamt of a more picturesque day for Stephanie + Kevin’s vows. For the end of September, the day was unseasonably warm and the sun was shining brightly in the sky – setting the celebratory mood of the day.
I arrived at Kevin’s parents home in Chilliwack to capture the guys getting ready & right off the bat a special little guy absolutely stole the show (& maybe my heart!!). While it was difficult to get my camera lens off of him (look at those cheeks!) we had a great time with Kevin + his groomsmen before the ceremony.
Watching Stephanie walk down the pathway towards Kevin, sheltered from the sun by the shade of the trees, she was absolutely radiant. Typically I can’t resist turning around to watch the groom’s reaction as the bride walks down the aisle but Stephanie was so stunning not a single guest, nor her groom, could take their eyes off of her.
What followed was an amazing day filled with personal touches, lots of laughs, a few tears, and endless smiles. From a field in Chilliwack, to their portraits & incredible reception at Harrison Hot Springs – it was an honour to watch them start this marriage together with their friends & family by their sides.
Second shooter for: Bree Mader Photography – be sure to check out some of her amazing work!! She recently revamped her website and oh boy is it looking awesome!
I was so thrilled when Breanna asked me to second shoot this wedding with her – I always love being able to work with other photographers & it’s a huge compliment to know that a primary photographer trusts you to have their back.
Congratulations Stephanie + Kevin – you two make a wonderful couple and we wish you all the best in the years to come! <3
Christine & Tom were married back in September at Jubilee Hall in Abbotsford, BC. The day could not have been more perfect for an autumn wedding as the leaves were starting to turn golden while the warmth of summer still clung to the air. Christine looked stunning as she walked down the isle with both of her parents by her side. Her bridesmaids choked back tears and excited laughs for their dear friend, and Tom’s face was beaming from the smile he had on his face from seeing his bride walking towards him.
After the ceremony was over, it was off to portraits with the bridal party and what a fun group we had! From lifting the bride across ditches, to ending our time with them by shotgunning beer, we had a great time with this fabulous group of people. One of the best things about a wedding day is when the guests and bridal party are so invested in their relationships with the couples that it shines through every moment of the day, and this was no exception. Hannah and I had an amazing afternoon with you two, congratulations Christine + Tom!
A little behind the scenes action of the guys (beers in hand) helping the ladies across the ditch – whatever it takes to get the shot, right?
Wedding party shenanigans
We had such a great time with this bridal party – and yes, if I’m at your wedding and I overhear talk of shotgunning beer, I WILL encourage it and I WILL photograph every messy minute of it!
Absolutely love these ring shots I grabbed at the end of the day!

“I love you right up to the moon – and back. “
Courtney & Nick and their boys Micah & Wyatt are such a special beautiful family and I was thrilled to be able to help capture this exciting moment in their lives! When I heard that Courtney was expecting baby #3, I was instantly excited with the possibility of doing a maternity and/or newborn session with these guys, and you can see why. The boys are beautiful bundles of smiles, giggles and energy. I have so much fun capturing the joy a child brings to the environment around them and this was no exception.
Happy Monday everybody! This post is one I’ve been so excited to share – it hardly made it to today but alas, here it is. Ashley looked absolutely gorgeous, no surprise, and she is so brave. Not only was she completely down for anything, but she even braved below zero temperatures and a wicked wind barefoot!
I love the tenderness and intimacy that is captured in this moment between Ashley & Jason. The softness in the lighting and focus helps to highlight this special moment between them.
Seriously, how stunning is Ashley!?
Craziest, bravest pregnant lady I’ve ever known (and in a good way – promise!) – it was hard to stand there and not shiver but when Jason and I saw Ashley with no fear out in that cold it made us feel pretty silly for saying how cold we were feeling. Ashley, you’re incredible! You can see now why I found it impossible to pick favourites from both this session and part 1 (click on link to see part 1).
