Hey, I'm Meg, welcome to my little corner of the cybersphere!
I'm a Fraser Valley wedding & lifestyle photographer (est. 2014) based in Langley, just west of Vancouver BC.
Take a look around & I'd love to connect with you soon!

“I felt it in my chest as she looked at me, I knew we were born to be together..” As Cat & Robin danced into their reception to Shut Up & Dance (one of THE best wedding songs this season, warning Brides – if you play this at your reception, this photographer WILL dance), it set the tone for the rest of the night. You could see the love in Robin’s eyes for Catherine, the song’s lyrics “this woman is my destiny” ringing true in his eyes.
The day started for me out at Robin’s parent’s house in Surrey where the guys were getting ready while Hannah was over with all the ladies (check out her blog posts here). It’s always such a different change of pace to hang with the groomsmen the morning of vs the bride’s house. They joked around & had a great time relaxing before the day really began. They all piled in the limo, and I raced ahead in my car to beat them & everybody else to the church. What followed was a beautiful ceremony in this gorgeous church, & from there Hannah & I followed the bridal party over to Bear Creek Park for my favourite.. portraits! These guys are one good looking bridal party and we had such a blast with this crew!
The reception was one for the record books, we had such a great time – Cat & Robin, your friends & family know how to party! We were having such a great time snapping shots of guests busting some awesome moves, and adorable nephews stealing the show, it was hard not to dance on the sidelines! From beer pong to cigars to spring rolls, tea & cookies, this reception was a blast! You definitely need to check out the snapshots from the dance.
Thank you for having us be a part of your beautiful day! We wish you all the best, what a lovely fun couple!

The day is here! I’m so excited to announce that I will be transitioning away from the name Reveal Photography.
I’m happy to unveil I will be rebranding as Meg Kristina Photography!
For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a camera in hand. Whether it was at the top of the world in Machu Picchu, Peru, at the end of the world in Chile, or playing the guitar with the children in Ghana – I’ve had an undeniable passion that I can’t fight to capture the world around me. I yearn to share the beauty that I see in the world, in each and every individual, in every landscape, region, & nation through my camera lens.
Growing up, I volunteered my photography skills for NGO’s such as Hope for the Nations, while continuing to photograph the little moments in life for myself as well. At the age of 15 even I dreamed of calling myself Meg Kristina Photography – why I didn’t from the start is something I wonder over and over!
So welcome to the new website with my completely updated portfolio and information!
I’d love to hear more about what makes you passionate and to talk about how I can capture that for you.
Message me today at info@megkristina.com – let’s talk!

You know when the pre-reception party starts with a beautiful bottle of Glenfiddich & the reception starts with the best man kissing a complete stranger that it’s going to be one heck of a night and Linda & Will’s July wedding did not disappoint!
Linda + Will were such an easy going couple on their wedding day, the stresses of the day seemed completely out of the picture for these two. Instead of feeling stressed, juggling multiple venues for photos, bridal party, etc, these two kept it simple. It was such a treat. They had one attendant each (maid of honour + best man) and instead focused their time on each other (most importantly) and all of their amazing guests. Hannah & I had a blast getting to spend most of the day with these two and their amazing guests. Wishing you all the best in your new life together. Thank you Hannah for having me along as a second shooter & assistant! <3

When Koren contacted me a couple months back regarding an extended family session, I was instantly excited! Not only do I absolutely love working with children, but having the opportunity to capture lasting memories of their reunion with Grandpa + Grandma is such an honour.
Karen suggested we meet at Sardis Park in the heart of Chilliwack. Sardis Park is absolutely beautiful, but as most of you know, BC has had an EXTREMELY dry summer – practically half of BC is on fire! As a result, even in Chilliwack, we have lost our beautiful lush green grasses, and the beautiful weeping willow trees that are scattered around the park were hurting for some rain. Lucky for us, not two days before our session we were blessed with some rain finally!! You could practically feel the trees and ground sucking up the water and coming back to life!
Thank you to the entire extended Palmer family for having me be a part of this day!
