“I just married you!!” Leo whispered to Ligia as we strolled through Williams Park in Langley, British Columbia. The sun was softly being filtered through the trees, casting a magical feel on the already beautiful day. Their ceremony had just finished at the beautiful Milner Chapel, and with no bridal party, it enabled Hannah (Hannah Cummins Photography) and I to have an extended amount of time for bridal portraits with Ligia and Leo. What photographer doesn’t love some extra quality time away with just the bride and groom helping them to escape the chaos of their day for just a few moments?!
Ligia was radiant, and Leo could not help himself from gazing at his new bride the entire time, he could not keep his eyes off of her in amazement that she was now all his!

You two were absolutely beautiful and I had an amazing time second shooting for you on your wedding day. <3

Last Thursday, I met up with Naomi + her friends Ali & Julie to take some graduation photos for them. They looked absolutely beautiful, and kudos to them for killing it in the 34 degree heat in the middle of the day! Congratulations Naomi + friends as well as all the other 2015 graduates celebrating this summer!

 

 

Part 2 of my time with Alex and Michaella is here! While they met and fell in love and currently reside in the Okanagan, North Vancouver holds a special place in their hearts! I got to spend a couple of hours here with them, they showed me their favourite spots, the to die for donuts (I’m not kidding you – these things are dangerously addictive!), and the views – and I got to grab a couple last shots of them in one of their favourite places together.

Alex + Michaella are seriously one of the cutest couples around – I love these two! We go way back – Michaella and I have actually known each other since middle school when we went to the same small private school in Kelowna and then I met Alex when they started dating in high school!

I was thrilled when they were able to come visit for the May Long weekend, and of course they weren’t even in town for more than an hour before I whisked them away, up Chilliwack Lake Rd, for a quick couples portrait session.
