Hey, I'm Meg, welcome to my little corner of the cybersphere!
I'm a Fraser Valley wedding & lifestyle photographer (est. 2014) based in Langley, just west of Vancouver BC.
Take a look around & I'd love to connect with you soon!

It’s the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, which means we’re all slowly getting back to the grind and working off that turkey dinner! I hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving with family & friends this past weekend. One of the people I shared part of my Thanksgiving this year with is up on the blog with her family today!
I’ve actually known Annika since our middle school days back in Kelowna. Fast forward a few years and photo sessions later and here we are. After both relocating from Kelowna to Abbotsford to Chilliwack, we’ve now lived in 3 cities together and I am so fortunate to live so close to such a good friend.
We met down at Vedder River last week for a little fall family mini session and we had a blast navigating over the driftwood and searching for rocks on the riverbank.

(a little preview from some of my past sessions with Annika + fam)

Sometimes the best way to get the whole family laughing is when your clients think it’s funny to hit your head with a tree branch while you’re trying to take their picture.. Thanks a lot Travis 😉

This past summer, I had the opportunity to spend quite a few of my Saturday’s working with other photographers as their second shooter. For the majority of them, I was with Hannah Cummins of Hannah Cummins Photography who will be up on the blog next week with her killer golden hour portrait session (for a sneak peek, check out the snapshot below!). While I am far from being a gifted (or very articulate) writer, I decided to give it a shot and share with you a few thoughts for other second shooters to think of going into next wedding season. And of course, I couldn’t help but include a few behind the scenes and favourite shots of mine from second shooting this season. So without further ado…

To celebrate the end of wedding season, Hannah & I went exploring the back roads of Abbotsford and exchanged portrait sessions for each other. She absolutely rocked it & I’m now convinced she was a model in a past life. Look for her up on the blog next week!

Thanks for the great season Hannah Cummins, Bree Mader , & more. It has been a privilege to work with you and watch you do your thang! You are all so talented and I’ve had a blast learning from you all this year.
To all the amazing brides & grooms, guests, and vendors that we met this season, it was an honour to meet you all! Keep being beautiful.
There are still a couple more weddings from this season that need to hit the blog, so don’t go away. There’s still more goodness to come!

just grab a hold of my hand, I will lead you through this wonderland…
Misty contacted me back in the spring about her summer 2016 wedding. We went for coffee and conversation quickly turned to planning out their engagement session. We decided on a fall session at a park her & Cole love to spend time at in Burnaby. This summer flew by and before I knew it, autumn was here. I’ve been looking forward to their engagement session since we first went for coffee and let me tell you, these two killed it!
Deer Lake Park is always a beautiful location, but this warm Sunday evening it looked absolutely magical. The flowers were still in bloom, the leaves all changing colours to beautiful yellows, reds & oranges, and the golden hour light filtered down through the trees; it was stunning. These two were so photogenic I still can’t get over it! It was so much fun to watch the way they interacted & laugh together. Cole made sure to keep things light hearted and fun, easily putting a smile on Misty’s face. You can see the way they care for each other & I am so excited for their wedding at Manning Park next summer!
I had a great time with you Misty + Cole!

I am absolutely loving all of these fabulous mini sessions this fall! The weather has been fantastic (other than a little blip on the map last weekend), the sun is warm, and the fall colours have just started to show off!
Last week, (after a quick reschedule thanks to the rain!) the Penner’s and I met down at Island 22 in Chilliwack for their family mini session! I love this family – not only are they beautiful inside & out but they are also dear friends, which makes it even more of a privilege to be able to capture these moments for them. Erika & Jared’s girls are full of personality and energy, and are simply adorable! Upon arriving at Island 22, Alexa excitedly hopped out of their SUV, ran over to me and presented me with a picture she drew for me which warmed my heart so much. These girls are going to be heart breakers one day, Jared – better get the gun ready now 😉
