Hey, I'm Meg, welcome to my little corner of the cybersphere!
I'm a Fraser Valley wedding & lifestyle photographer (est. 2014) based in Langley, just west of Vancouver BC.
Take a look around & I'd love to connect with you soon!
There’s nothing quite like an intimate mountaintop wedding. In Maria + Brad’s case, they were married in a stunning intimate mountaintop wedding ceremony at Manning Park. Truly it was a sight to see amid blooming alpine meadows surrounded by scenic views of the Cascade mountain range.
Now, since there’s no formal seating, improvisation is key. This is especially true when you have a remote wedding. That said, Maria and Brad rocked it!
But let’s start at the beginning, when Maria walked down the aisle carrying a bouquet filled with wildflowers. Brad had handpicked them that very morning. It was quite sweet. What was very clear the whole time was this couple’s love, you see, from the moment Brad saw Maria walking down the aisle toward him, it was there. Seriously, his jaw-dropping reaction was a perfect example of the love these two hold for each other. Don’t believe me? You can see more of their love by checking out their Buntzen Lake engagement session!).
Looking back, there is not a single moment of this wedding that didn’t touch my heart. To give you an example, the moment that Maria reached out to Brad, I swear, the world stopped turning. Or, the way Brad looked at Maria like he was the luckiest guy in the world.
I think he’s right š and I was far from the only one to agree!Ā The way Brad looks at Maria, the love that shines through their eyes as they look at each other, it’s clear they are wholly entirely intoxicatedĀ with each other.
The best part, I have to say, was that the joy of the day wasn’t just between Brad and Maria. No, this joy was abundant, you could feel it in the air, and see it among all of their family and friends. It was palpable, and I loved it! Seriously, everyone who had gathered and shared their excitement for this next stage in life was feeling the love. Beyond the people, the love and affection were in all the small things. For example, take in the smiles, the tears of joy, or moments of carefree laughter, all of it showed the happiness of the moment.
Or how about when Katie walked out in her wedding dress? It was a prime example of the love and support these two have from their community.
To give you my final thoughts, it was such an honor to be up at the gorgeous Manning Park Resort. Truthfully, I’m here for it any time. But, especially when I meet couples like Maria and Brad. They truly made this a special experience.
Honestly, you two were such a dream to photograph. Thank you so much for letting us be part of your day. We absolutely adored every minute of capturing your day.

A few weeks ago now, I had the pleasure of being asked to photograph the Handpicked Vintage Market at Abbotsford’s Exhibition Park over Mother’s Day weekend. In addition to running the event’s adorably vintage chic Photo Booth (I can NOT take credit for the amazing set we had to work with at this event – the ladies did a fantastic job designing it!!), I was fortunate enough to be provided with my own table set-up which gave me the perfect opportunity to chat with many of the attendees!
If you came by to say hi, thank you – I loved connecting with you all! It was so lovely to meet all the great people attending the event (in addition to the incredibly talented vendors & event team) and to hear your kind words of encouragement.
Kimberley & Shannon are the amazing ladies behind this event and they did an incredible job of organizing a great fun market! I can’t wait to hear all about how your next one goes.
This is definitely not the last you’ve seen of these ladies and their vintage market! You can find them next September 30, 2016 – October 1, 2016 in Abbotsford OR catch them at their Christmas market to stock up on presents in Chilliwack at their Handpicked Wee Little Christmas! Misty & Cole – I’ve been (not so) patiently waiting for their special day since Misty contacted me last spring & told me over coffee all about their plans for theirĀ summer wedding at Manning Park Resort.
After their inevitable meeting years ago at friend’s party, these two have been inseparable almost ever since.
We met last fall for their engagement pictures at Deer Lake Park in Burnaby (you can check out their dreamy golden hour session by clicking HERE) and if I wasn’t already excited enough for their wedding, seeing the way these two interact together sealed the deal!
Fast forward to June this year.. On the way to theĀ wedding from Chilliwack, it was becoming apparent that the rainclouds would dictate the day and it was so unexpectedly worth it. Between the rain, the breaks of sunshine, &Ā the snow (yes – I said snow!), it could not have captured more perfectly the unique strong emotional connection that Misty + Cole have formed. Driving towards the summit of the mountain for Couple’s Portraits (my favourite!!!) the snow began to fall, cleansingĀ that which once was there to prepare for the new life that these two would commit to together on this day.
This beautiful couple can weather anything that life throws at them & their wedding dayĀ was proof of their connection! Through rain, mountain winds, & snow, they never complained and never stopped looking towards each other. No matter the storm brewing outside, these two soaked in each &Ā every moment and I have no doubt that together they can handle anything life throws at them.
Congratulations Misty + Cole – thank you for having me be a part of your day!
(You know the day is off to a good start when this little guy welcomes you to Manning Park!)

Teri + Mick were married underneath the bandstand overlooking beautiful Harrison Lake just two short weekends ago. These two are so special together and it’s undeniable that they truly are meant for one another. After meeting in high school over 25 years ago, they went their separate ways in life only to find their way back to each other just 5 short years ago (you can read more about their story + check out their engagement session here)
When Mick proposed to Teri almost two years ago in June 2014 in one of the hot springs at Harrison Resort & Spa Hotel, their fate was sealed. It was inevitable that they return to this spot to commit the rest of their lives together on their wedding day. Seeing their family + friends rally around this couple to express their undivided love & support of these two was so significant. From the excitement in the air the minute I walked in the Bridal Suite that Saturday morning, the tears of happiness + love that Mick thought he got away with no one seeing, to the most joyful radiant bride I’ve ever seen – it was such a gorgeous day that we’ll all be remembering for a long time to come.
A huge congratulations to these two for standing the test of time and finding their way to each other.
