Hey, I'm Meg, welcome to my little corner of the cybersphere!
I'm a Fraser Valley wedding & lifestyle photographer (est. 2014) based in Langley, just west of Vancouver BC.
Take a look around & I'd love to connect with you soon!
I met with the V family a few weeks back in White Rock for their family portrait session. Sandy & her beautiful family (aren’t they all gorgeous together?!) wanted to commemorate the first birthday milestone of their stunning daughter with this photoshoot. We were both driving in from Langley but it was worth it to be at the picturesque Historic Stewart Farm. It’s one of my favourite locations in the Greater Vancouver area, especially for families, as it offers lots of variety in location in addition to the historic quaint homes located there. It was a quick session but we had a great time and I loved watching the fierce protection this family has for their little girl.
Happy First Birthday & it was such a pleasure meeting you all.
Here’s a look at a few of my favourites from their session..

Now that I’m all caught up from the Christmas chaos surrounding the holidays, I’m able to catch up with the blog! It has been so neglected when it comes to weddings – I have over 10 weddings from around Vancouver & Langley from this last summer that still have to be blogged!! Oops! With catching up means spending hours pouring over hundreds of images from 2017 so you can also expect to see my “Best of 2017” in the coming weeks.
Today though, we’re hitting the rewind button back to September at Morgan Creek Golf Course. It was one of my last weddings of the summer as well as with Hannah – we try to shoot most of our weddings together so the end of the season is always bittersweet. Aside from it being one of the last of the year though, the warm fall day set it apart anyways. The leaves were crisp and the smell of fall was fresh in the air while at the same time the rays of the sun kept you warm while casting a golden glow on everything it touched. Since I was shooting with Hannah, I was with the men for the day. Tasked with photographing Diego & his groomsmen in getting ready, portraits & more, I always have so much fun getting to know the guys throughout the day. That being said, the moment Kerstina walked around the corner towards Diego for the first look, her radiant joy & love stole the show. You could see her happiness bursting out of her, she was practically glowing – overflowing with love & excitement. It really set the tone for the entire day. I had such a great time getting to know these two & helping capture their celebration. Thank you so much for having us!
Here’s a curated selection of my favourites from the day…

I absolutely loved photographing this proposal at Glow Langley this past December. It was the perfect holiday evening, with a crisp coolness in the air, as I arrived at the popular light garden exhibit that has taken Vancouver by storm this last winter. I was met by a huge crowd of Sunny & Justine’s loved one – friends, family, cousins, and their three children holding a sign up for Justine to see. It was bustling with activity and excitement already inside as we waited for Sunny to lead Justine around the corner to where everyone waited for her. As they approached, the crowd parted ways down leading to the centre of the large red ornament where her children and their banner awaited. Justine was already taken back, trying to grasp what exactly was happening as she read the words on the sign that would change her life.. “Mommy, will you marry Daddy?”

I can’t say enough about how wonderful of an experience it was photographing the S Family in their Surrey home back in December. They were kind, warm and inviting in welcoming me into their home to capture some really beautiful memories for them. It was so much fun interacting with the kids, exploring (& photographing but I’ll save that for another blog post) this stunning home, and getting to know this family. I was privileged enough to be invited into their prayer room to photograph it and them saying their prayers. I was blessed enough growing up to travel abroad & it has given me a great appreciation & respect for other cultures and religions. A major part of why I do what I do is because I fell in love with capturing the beauty around the world – of both places & it’s people. This family was so kind to me & I am so happy I got to meet them. The kids were too much fun, and some of the adults even got into a fight!… A purse fight haha 😉 But seriously, you have to check out the photos of an incredible walk in closet (.. and maybe a purse fight shot).
Needless to say, I had a great time getting to know this extended family. Here’s a small selection of some of my favourites!
