Hi! I'm Meg!

I've been shooting professionally in the Fraser Valley since 2014. In the 10 years since starting MKP, I've photographed everything from proposals, destination beach weddings, newborns, families, corporate events & even funerals, supporting my clients in every stage of life.

I fell in love with photography at the same time I fell in love with traveling. Exploring cultures growing up, I quickly become a travelholic (fun fact: I've been to Peru 3 times & 2 of my pets were named in honour of the country (Cusco & Lima)). Peru, Cuba, Australia, Italy, Chile, England & Ghana are just some of my passport stamps I've collected over the years with no plans to stop. It woke up the passion in me to capture the beauty in both culture & connection with people from all walks of life.

Originally from the Okanagan, after a period of heartbreak & self discovery I was able to start fresh and build a new life for myself in Langley. I have loved being a part of the community since 2016. I enjoy making my own kombucha & am a winoholic! I find it hard to get through any day without a bowl full of raspberries & planning my next adventure. I live for those golden hour walks exploring with my loves and lazy weekend mornings when I'm not out shooting weddings.
 
I'm unapologetically awkward & a sarcasm specialist - I take pride in my effortless ability to make you smile the whole way through your session! 
Most of all though, I love being able to capture memories of raw emotion, passion & connection for you to cherish and look back on.
